## Executive Summary
The Ghost of Yōtei: Complete Edition launches on PS5, featuring the Echoes of Sekigahara story DLC and the highly praised Most Wanted mode.

## Intelligence Brief
The Ghost of Yōtei: Complete Edition has been released as a PlayStation 5 exclusive, introducing significant new content to the title. According to coverage from Push Square, the release includes a story DLC where the character Atsu is highlighted as a shining element of the narrative. Additionally, the package introduces a new game mode called Most Wanted, which Push Square reports as the standout feature of the edition. This release also integrates the Echoes of Sekigahara expansion, providing new gameplay experiences and narrative arcs for players on the PS5 platform.

Various media outlets are focusing on the specific additions and technical details of this update. IGN reports that both the Echoes of Sekigahara DLC and the Most Wanted mode are worthy additions to the exclusive title. VICE has provided specific utility information for consumers, including release times for the Complete Edition as well as details regarding new armor and various deluxe items included in the package. Meanwhile, 25yearslatersite.com has focused on the economic and technical aspects of the launch, reporting on the pricing of Echoes of Sekigahara and the deployment of Patch v2.0.

Critical reception of the new content is mixed regarding its implementation. While IGN views the DLC as a positive addition, Polygon.com argues that the new DLC content should have been included in the game from its initial launch. This suggests a tension between the quality of the new material and the timing of its release. The context of the update is further defined by the introduction of the Most Wanted mode, which MonsterVine has highlighted in its coverage. This mode appears to be a primary driver of interest for the Complete Edition release on October 1, 2026.

Looking forward, players and analysts are monitoring the impact of Patch v2.0, as detailed by 25yearslatersite.com, to see how it stabilizes the new content. Coverage from IGN indicates a focus on preparing for the Echoes of Sekigahara experience. Future attention will likely remain on the deluxe items and armor sets detailed by VICE, as well as the long-term reception of the Most Wanted mode. Because the title remains a PS5 exclusive, all upcoming updates and content iterations will be centralized on that hardware according to the current reports.
