## Executive Summary
Chicago Bears coach Ben Johnson leaves the starting quarterback position undecided heading into Sunday's game following the absence of Caleb Williams.

## Intelligence Brief
The Chicago Bears are facing significant uncertainty regarding their starting quarterback for their upcoming game this Sunday. According to reporting from audacy.com, the organization has officially ruled out Caleb Williams for the contest. Despite this confirmation, the team has not publicly named who will step in to lead the offense. Coach Ben Johnson has declined to identify the starter at this time, stating plainly that the team will find out who takes the field on Sunday. This creates a high-stakes vacuum for the team as they prepare for their next matchup without their primary signal-caller. Coverage of the situation is being tracked across multiple sports outlets, including TSN, Yahoo Sports, ChiCitySports, and audacy.com.

TSN emphasizes the coach's refusal to commit to a specific player before the game begins. Meanwhile, Yahoo Sports reports that while the organization maintains faith in Tyson Bagent, there is a perceived level of proof in the experience of Case Keenum. The narrative across these reports centers on the tension between trusting a younger player like Bagent and relying on the veteran presence offered by Keenum during a critical period of the season. Context for this uncertainty is provided by ChiCitySports, which reports that Case Keenum has been brutally honest regarding the lack of clarity surrounding the QB1 position. The situation matters now because the absence of Caleb Williams forces the coaching staff to choose between different styles of play and levels of experience. The debate between starting Tyson Bagent or Case Keenum represents a choice between potential and proven reliability.

This internal struggle is playing out publicly as the team approaches their Sunday deadline, leaving fans and analysts to speculate on the final decision. Future developments will depend on the official game-day roster and the actual kickoff on Sunday. Based on the statements provided by Ben Johnson to TSN, the resolution to this quarterback controversy will not be revealed through press conferences or official announcements before the game. Observers will be watching to see if the Bears prioritize the faith they have in Tyson Bagent or the honesty and experience cited by Case Keenum. The outcome of this decision will be immediately evident once the Bears take the field for their scheduled Sunday competition.
