NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell met with Illinois Governor JB Pritzker and various Illinois lawmakers on Thursday to discuss the future of the Chicago Bears' stadium. According to reporting from NFL.com and Bloomberg.com, these discussions are centered on the ongoing pursuit of a new stadium and the specific goal of keeping the Chicago Bears within the state of Illinois. This high-level engagement indicates a coordinated effort between the league's leadership and state government officials to resolve the team's venue requirements. Coverage of the event is widespread across sports and financial news outlets.

NBC Sports and NFL.com emphasize the direct interaction between Goodell and Governor Pritzker, while Bloomberg.com highlights the strategic nature of the meetings regarding the team's presence in Illinois.
