## Executive Summary
The Daily Wire has suspended production of its ICE-themed thriller 'Pawn Shop' in Livingston, Montana, following a special city commission meeting.

## Intelligence Brief
Production on the film 'Pawn Shop' has been temporarily suspended in Livingston, Montana. The project is being produced by the Daily Wire and is described as a pro-ICE thriller that brings a Minneapolis ICE story to the local setting of Livingston. The suspension follows a special meeting held by the Livingston city commission, which took the action of temporarily suspending the production's filming permit. This move comes as the city evaluates the impact of the production on the local community. Multiple media outlets are reporting on the development, including Variety, Yahoo, and Deadline.

TheWrap reports that the order to suspend filming was issued as the city reviews the production, which has been characterized as 'disruptive.' NBC Montana specifically notes that the Livingston city commission suspended the permit amid ongoing controversy surrounding the project. The reporting highlights a conflict between the filming entity and local government officials over the logistics and nature of the shoot. Context provided by the Bozeman Daily Chronicle clarifies the creative origins of the film, linking it to Ben Shapiro and explaining that 'Pawn Shop' centers on an ICE story originating in Minneapolis but being filmed in Montana. The tension stems from the film's pro-ICE thematic stance and the actual physical disruption caused by the production process in Livingston. The use of a special city meeting to address the permit indicates that the local government felt an urgent need to intervene in the Daily Wire's activities.

Moving forward, the status of the film's production depends on the outcome of the city's review process. Coverage indicates that the permit remains suspended until the Livingston city commission completes its assessment of the disruption caused by the crew. Observers are waiting to see if the Daily Wire will reach an agreement with city officials or if the production will be forced to relocate. No date for a follow-up meeting or a final decision on the permit has been specified in the current coverage.
