## Executive Summary
The Los Angeles Dodgers have released their NLDS roster for the series against the Braves, marked by surprising omissions and the inclusion of top prospects.

## Intelligence Brief
The Los Angeles Dodgers have officially announced their roster for the National League Division Series (NLDS) against the Braves. According to reporting from MLB.com and ESPN, the team has opted to include outfielder prospect Josue De Paula on the active roster for the postseason matchup. Additionally, MLB.com notes that reliever Henriquez has been named to the squad. True Blue LA further specifies that Hyeseong Kim will also be active for the series against the Braves. These additions highlight a strategic decision to integrate youth and specific depth into the lineup as the team prepares for their opening round of the playoffs. Media coverage from Yahoo Sports and Dodgers Nation emphasizes the surprising nature of the roster construction, noting that several notable names were left off the list.

Yahoo Sports specifically highlights that the Dodgers have shockingly left an All-Star pitcher off the NLDS roster. While the other outlets focus on the active inclusions of De Paula and Kim, the broader narrative across these five reports suggests a shift in the team's typical approach to postseason roster management. Dodgers Nation describes the exclusion of these established players as a significant development in the team's preparations for the series. The context surrounding these decisions involves the promotion of high-ceiling talent over veteran stability. The inclusion of Josue De Paula, described by MLB.com as a top prospect, indicates a willingness by the Dodgers organization to trust unproven players in high-stakes environments. This move occurs as the team faces the Braves, a matchup that requires a balance of veteran leadership and specialized roles.

The omission of an All-Star caliber pitcher, as detailed by Yahoo Sports, suggests that the team may be prioritizing current form or specific matchups over established career accolades and historical performance metrics. Looking forward, observers will monitor how the inclusion of De Paula, Kim, and Henriquez impacts the team's performance against the Braves. The effectiveness of the pitching staff will be under particular scrutiny given the decision to leave an All-Star pitcher off the roster. Coverage will likely track whether these roster gambles pay off in the initial games of the NLDS or if the absence of the omitted veterans becomes a point of contention. The team's strategic deployment of their top prospect and new additions will be the primary focus as the series progresses toward a potential National League Championship Series berth.
