> **Open Intelligence Dossier** · First detected: 2026-10-04 19:40 UTC · Category: Business

## Executive Summary
Elon Musk is rebranding SpaceXAI to SpaceXSI following a directive from Donald Trump to emphasize the concept of super intelligence.

## Intelligence Brief
This transition comes in direct response to a directive issued by Donald Trump. According to coverage from Fox Business, the primary driver behind this rebranding effort was the influence of Donald Trump. This indicates a high level of coordination or influence between the two figures regarding the public framing of advanced AI capabilities.

To understand the significance of this development, one must consider the distinction between standard artificial intelligence and the notion of super intelligence. While AI generally refers to machines performing tasks that typically require human intelligence, super intelligence implies a level of cognitive ability that surpasses human capacity across all fields. This occurs within the context of SpaceX's ongoing operations and Musk's broader integration of AI into aerospace and exploration technology.

Coverage does not yet specify the technical changes that will accompany the rebranding or if there are new mandates associated with the super intelligence directive. Future reports are expected to clarify whether this name change precedes a specific product launch or a shift in the company's research trajectory. The focus remains on the implementation of the directive provided by Donald Trump and how it affects the strategic positioning of SpaceX's intelligence initiatives.
