Chuck Lorre alleges that Roseanne Barr exhibited 'absolute malice' toward the writers of her ABC sitcom, claiming she fundamentally hated their involvement.

## Intelligence Brief
Television producer Chuck Lorre has made public allegations regarding the working environment on the ABC sitcom Roseanne. According to reports from Variety, Entertainment Weekly, and Bleeding Cool News, Lorre states that Roseanne Barr fundamentally hated having writers on her show. Lorre describes the atmosphere as one defined by malice, asserting that this hostility was not limited to him personally but extended to all writers associated with the production. These claims suggest a deeply strained relationship between the star and the creative team responsible for the show's scripting. Multiple media outlets have focused on the severity of Lorre's descriptions.

The Daily Beast and Yahoo emphasize the 'malicious' behavior of the MAGA sitcom star, while Page Six reports that this perceived malice made Barr impossible to work with. IMDb highlights a specific quote from the Big Bang Theory creator, who characterized the situation as absolute malice. The coverage across these platforms consistently frames the revelations as a 'bombshell' regarding the internal dynamics of the set, contrasting the public success of the sitcom with the private tensions Lorre recalls. Contextually, this trend highlights the professional frictions involving Chuck Lorre, a figure often referred to in the coverage as the 'sitcom king' or 'TV legend' due to his work on series like The Big Bang Theory. The dispute centers on the fundamental role of writers in the sitcom process and Barr's alleged resentment toward that structure.

By speaking out, Lorre provides a retrospective account of the tension and hostility that allegedly permeated the production of the ABC series, adding to the public record of Barr's professional interactions. Future developments will depend on whether there is a response to these specific claims of malice. Current coverage from A.V. Club and other entertainment news sources establishes that Lorre is the latest person to open up about the experience of working with Roseanne Barr. Observers will be watching to see if other former staff members from the ABC sitcom corroborate these accounts of writer-hostility or if further details emerge regarding the specific incidents that Lorre characterizes as malicious behavior during the show's run.
