## Executive Summary
The New York Yankees have overhauled their Game 3 ALDS lineup, benching Jazz Chisholm in a high-stakes effort to save their season.

## Intelligence Brief
The New York Yankees have implemented a significant shakeup to their starting lineup for Game 3 of the American League Division Series (ALDS). According to reports from MLB.com and USA Today, manager Aaron Boone has made the decision to remove Jazz Chisholm from the active lineup for this specific contest. In his place, Anthony Volpe has been inserted into the starting roster. Additionally, MLB.com reports that Caballero has also received a call from Boone to be part of the adjusted lineup for this critical matchup. The team is facing a do-or-die scenario, meaning the outcome of this game will determine if the Yankees continue in the postseason or are eliminated from contention. Coverage from USA Today emphasizes the high stakes of the game, describing it as a do-or-die situation where the Yankees' season is effectively on the line.

MLB.com focuses on the specific personnel movements, detailing that while Volpe and Caballero are stepping into roles, Jazz Chisholm is sitting out. The shift suggests a strategic pivot by the coaching staff to find a winning combination under extreme pressure. To understand why this matters, readers must recognize that the Yankees are currently in the American League Division Series, a knockout stage of the Major League Baseball playoffs. The 'do-or-die' nature of Game 3 indicates that the team has likely fallen behind in the series and cannot afford another loss. The decision to bench a player like Jazz Chisholm in favor of Anthony Volpe represents a gamble by Aaron Boone to change the offensive or defensive dynamic of the team during a moment of desperation. Such lineup volatility is common in elimination games where managers prioritize immediate results over seasonal consistency.

Moving forward, observers will be watching the performance of Anthony Volpe and Caballero to see if Boone's tactical shift produces the necessary results to extend the series. The focus remains on whether the removal of Jazz Chisholm from the Game 3 lineup translates into a victory for the New York Yankees. Based on the reporting, the immediate priority is the result of this single game, as the coverage specifies that the season is currently on the line. Future updates will likely center on whether these specific personnel changes remain in place or if further adjustments are made for subsequent games.
