## Executive Summary
Luke Grimes addresses his relationship with Kevin Costner two years after the actor's bitter departure from the Yellowstone series.

## Intelligence Brief
Actor Luke Grimes has provided an update on his current relationship with Kevin Costner, confirming that the two have not spoken since the end of the production of Yellowstone. This revelation comes two years after Costner's bitter exit from the series. Grimes has explicitly shut the door on a potential cameo involving Costner, suggesting that a reunion between the two actors is unlikely to occur. The comments address the ongoing tension following the conclusion of the main series and the transition into new projects within the franchise. Coverage of these remarks is widespread across several entertainment outlets. Page Six focuses on the status of the relationship between Grimes and Costner following the departure, while 3DVF emphasizes that Grimes has specifically rejected the idea of a Costner cameo.

Whiskey Riff highlights a specific quote from Grimes, who stated that if a flashback sequence were to be filmed, he would rather it be with the character Monica. Additionally, IMDb has reported that this update provides unexpected news regarding Costner's potential return in a Taylor Sheridan sequel spinoff. To understand the current tension, it is necessary to look at the timeline established in the coverage. Costner left the Yellowstone series under bitter circumstances approximately two years ago. The franchise has since expanded into various iterations, including the upcoming project titled Marshals. The relationship between the remaining cast members and Costner has remained a point of public interest as Taylor Sheridan continues to develop the universe through various spinoffs and sequels, leaving fans to wonder if the original lead will ever return.

Looking forward, the focus remains on the production of the spinoff Marshals. According to reports from Whiskey Riff, Grimes does not believe a Kevin Costner appearance on Marshals will ever happen. Future developments will likely center on whether Taylor Sheridan's plans for the sequel spinoff will include other original cast members or if the divide between the production and Costner remains permanent. The coverage indicates that Grimes is prioritizing interactions with other characters, such as Monica, over any reconciliation with his former co-star.
