## Executive Summary
ESPN has unveiled expansive 2026-27 men's college basketball schedules for the ACC and SEC, featuring hundreds of nationally televised matchups.

## Intelligence Brief
ESPN and the Atlantic Coast Conference (ACC) have officially announced the men's college basketball schedule for the 2026-27 season. This partnership results in more than 250 games being distributed across various ESPN networks. Simultaneously, the ESPN Press Room and other outlets have detailed a separate agreement with the Southeastern Conference (SEC). The SEC schedule will feature more than 230 games broadcast across ESPN networks during the upcoming 2026-27 season, ensuring a high volume of televised matchups for teams within that conference.

Coverage of these announcements has been widespread across sports news outlets and university-affiliated sites. The ESPN Press Room provided the primary details for both the ACC and SEC schedules. Saturday Down South reported specifically on the ESPN coverage plans for the SEC's 230-plus games. Additionally, regional and team-specific outlets such as AL.com and Yahoo Sports have focused on the tipoff times and TV schedules for SEC teams, specifically highlighting Alabama basketball. The Florida Gators' official platform has also released the 2026-27 TV schedule for its men's basketball program.

This news comes amid a broader release of basketball scheduling across different conferences and genders. While the primary focus is on the men's game in the ACC and SEC, LSUsports.net reports that the LSU women's basketball team is scheduled to play 17 nationally televised contests. This indicates a coordinated effort by networks to finalize television windows for the winter sports season. The specificity provided by AL.com regarding Auburn basketball's dates, times, and networks underscores the importance of these broadcast schedules for team logistics and fan access.

Future developments will likely involve the specific timing and network assignments for individual games as the season approaches. While the general volume of games for the ACC and SEC is established, fans will be watching for updated tipoff times. The coverage from Yahoo Sports and AL.com suggests that these specific details for SEC teams are now being solidified. Observers will continue to monitor how these hundreds of games are distributed among the different ESPN-branded channels throughout the 2026-27 calendar.
