## Executive Summary
Xbox is hosting Free Play Days from October 8-11, allowing users to test high-profile titles like S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2 and ARC Raiders for free.

## Intelligence Brief
Xbox has launched a Free Play Days event beginning October 8, 2026, which provides users with the opportunity to play several select titles at no cost. According to reports from Neowin, Pure Xbox, and Xbox Wire, the promotional window is scheduled to run from October 8 through October 11. The lineup of available games includes S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2: Heart of Chornobyl and ARC Raiders, among others. This initiative allows the gaming community to experience full versions of these games for a limited duration without needing to purchase them upfront.

Coverage from Pure Xbox and Xbox Wire emphasizes the breadth of the offering by listing multiple titles available during this specific window. In addition to S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2: Heart of Chornobyl and ARC Raiders, the event features Little Nightmares III and Screamer. Neowin specifically highlights the availability of STALKER 2 and ARC Raiders for the duration of the weekend. By naming these specific games, the outlets signal a focus on both established franchises and newer entries in the Xbox ecosystem during this short-term access event.

The context for this event involves the Xbox Free Play Days system, which is a recurring promotional strategy used to increase visibility for specific software titles. By providing free access to games like Little Nightmares III and Screamer, the platform enables potential buyers to trial the gameplay mechanics and content before committing to a purchase. This is particularly relevant for high-profile releases such as S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2: Heart of Chornobyl, where trial periods can drive user engagement and sales figures immediately following the free window.

Looking forward, the current coverage indicates that this period of free access will conclude on October 11. Users interested in ARC Raiders, Screamer, or Little Nightmares III must utilize the service before that date to avoid paying for the titles. While the articles do not specify which other games fall under the "and More" category mentioned by Xbox Wire, the focus remains on the listed titles. Future updates would be required to determine if these titles will return to the Free Play Days rotation or if new games will replace them in subsequent events.
