## Executive Summary
Giants coach John Harbaugh says the team is "honing in" on a Week 7 quarterback choice as the Sunday clash with the Texans approaches.

## Intelligence Brief
The New York Giants are in the final stages of selecting their starting quarterback for the Week 7 game against the Houston Texans, according to statements made by John Harbaugh. The specific focus is on who will take the field as QB1, with the game slated for the next weekend. Each outlet highlighted the same two names, indicating that the coaching staff has identified these players as the primary candidates.

The uniformity of reporting underscores the significance of the decision and the attention it has drawn across major sports media. The background to this focus is that the Giants have been described as "working through" their quarterback situation without naming a starter, as noted by Big Blue View. The phrase "honing in" signals a shift from broader evaluation to a concrete choice, suggesting that recent practices or internal assessments have brought the team closer to a final call.

The Week 7 contest against the Texans carries weight for the Giants’ season trajectory, making the quarterback selection a pivotal strategic element. Observers should watch for an official announcement of the starter before the Sunday game, as the coverage indicates the decision has not yet been made public. Further comments from Harbaugh or the Giants’ front office are likely to appear in subsequent reports from the same outlets, providing clarity on the final quarterback pick and any related game‑plan adjustments.
