## Executive Summary
Selena Gomez reveals that nicotine vaping permanently changed her voice, calling the habit stupid and not worth it.

## Intelligence Brief
Recent entertainment reporting reveals that recording artist and actress Selena Gomez has spoken publicly about the personal impact of nicotine vaping. According to coverage from outlets including Yahoo, Just Jared, Page Six, Variety, and the BBC, Gomez disclosed that this specific habit caused permanent alterations to her voice. The published reports detail her regret over the addiction, with coverage highlighting her direct statements to the public regarding the consequences of the habit. The reporting specifies that the artist characterized the behavior using strong personal terms, lamenting the outcome. The emerging narrative has been heavily picked up across major entertainment platforms, ensuring widespread visibility for the disclosure.

Outlets such as Variety and Page Six framed the revelation around her candid assessment that the habit is not worth the damage it caused. Meanwhile, the BBC and Just Jared focused on the specific connection between nicotine vaping and the changes to her vocal delivery. Yahoo similarly emphasized her lamentations over the situation, capturing how the entertainer described the choice in her own remarks. This multi-outlet convergence underscores a coordinated wave of attention on the celebrity's health and lifestyle admissions. While the coverage does not yet specify the full clinical background or the exact timeline of when the vocal changes first manifested, the reports firmly establish the link between the confessed addiction and the current state of her voice.

Celebrity health disclosures of this nature typically resonate widely within pop culture cycles, bringing renewed focus to the broader social discussions surrounding nicotine use and vaping habits among public figures. The reports do not detail any further medical diagnoses beyond the personal observation shared by Gomez herself, leaving the focus squarely on her public statements regarding the permanence of the change. Observers and fans will be monitoring future interviews and public appearances to see if Gomez offers additional commentary on her journey away from the addiction or discusses any efforts to restore her vocal range. Because the available reports rely entirely on her initial disclosures, subsequent coverage will likely track whether other public figures respond to the statements or if further details emerge regarding her lifestyle changes.
