## Executive Summary

## Intelligence Brief
The rumor, first highlighted by GamingBolt and echoed by several other gaming sites, suggests the project could become Star Wars Battlefront 3. Sources describe the discussions as preliminary, with no formal development agreement confirmed at this stage. The reports emphasize Disney’s outreach to multiple studios, noting Bungie’s recent focus on Marathon and Destiny while also hinting at a possible Sony connection through Bungie’s ownership. The articles also note that the collaboration could span multiple platforms, though specifics are not provided.

Each piece repeats that the talks are unconfirmed and that no timeline has been disclosed. The speculation arrives against a backdrop of the franchise’s recent history. Future monitoring should focus on any official statements from Disney, DICE or Bungie, as well as follow‑up reporting from the same outlets that broke the story.
