## Executive Summary
Texans wide receiver Tank Dell is set to return Sunday, ending a nearly two‑year hiatus after a devastating 2024 knee injury.

## Intelligence Brief
The Houston Texans have confirmed that wide receiver Tank Dell will suit up for the first time since his 2024 knee injury in the upcoming Sunday matchup against the New York Giants. Coverage from Yahoo Sports describes the injury as “gruesome,” while ESPN labels it a “major knee injury.” The Houston Chronicle adds a quote that it is “time for him to be back,” and The New York Times notes the return comes “nearly 2 years after a devastating knee injury.” NBC Sports focuses on the Texans’ plan to have Dell on the field for Week 7. The consistent language across Yahoo, NBC, Chronicle, Times, and ESPN underscores the significance of his availability.

As a starting wide receiver, his production had been a key component of Houston’s passing attack prior to the setback. The Giants, his first opponent upon return, present a divisional test that could gauge his readiness after a prolonged rehabilitation period. Observers will watch Dell’s snap count and target volume in Sunday’s contest to assess his physical condition.

Subsequent reports are likely to detail any adjustments the coaching staff makes based on his performance. The Texans’ upcoming games will provide further data on whether Dell can sustain a full workload through the remainder of the season. Continued updates from the team’s medical staff and post‑game analysis will shape expectations for his role moving forward.
