## Intelligence Brief
Current reporting shows that Hideo Kojima is confirmed to reprise his role from Cyberpunk 2077 in a new cameo appearance for the anime series Edgerunners 2. Coverage across multiple entertainment and gaming outlets highlights this casting development as part of the ongoing rollout for the second season of the sci-fi project. Outlets including IGN, Polygon.com, What's on Netflix, and the official cyberpunksite have all published coverage surrounding the development, noting the connection between the original video game character presence and the animated adaptation. The official cyberpunksite published details tied to REDstreams, aligning with the broader promotional rollout of the series.
