## Executive Summary
Rock band U2 is scheduled to headline the halftime show for the NFL's first-ever Thanksgiving Eve game on Netflix.

## Intelligence Brief
Recent reporting indicates that the rock band U2 will perform during the halftime show for an upcoming NFL game scheduled for Thanksgiving Eve. According to coverage from outlets including The Hollywood Reporter, Deadline, NFL.com, NBC Sports, Yahoo Sports, and RTE.ie, the performance marks a prominent entertainment addition to a newly established football broadcast. The specific details regarding the exact setlist, stage design, or supporting acts remain unspecified in the current reporting, as the coverage focuses strictly on the announcement of the band's participation in the event. Media organizations have heavily emphasized the unique scheduling of the football matchup, noting that this broadcast represents the first-ever Thanksgiving Eve game for the NFL.

Outlets such as Yahoo Sports and NFL.com point out that the broadcast will be streamed live on Netflix, marking a significant collaboration between the sports league and the streaming platform. RTE.ie highlights the international aspect of the band's upcoming appearance in the United States next month, while Deadline and The Hollywood Reporter frame the announcement around the broader entertainment lineup for the platform's holiday sports programming. This development arrives as professional sports leagues increasingly partner with major streaming services to broadcast high-profile holiday games. The context provided by the coverage revolves around the novelty of the Thanksgiving Eve timeslot, which expands traditional holiday football viewing.

While previous holiday games have relied on traditional broadcast networks, this particular matchup utilizes a streaming service model, positioning the musical performance by U2 as a major attraction designed to draw viewership to the platform's inaugural broadcast of this specific event. As the broadcast date approaches next month, observers and fans will be monitoring further announcements from the platform and the league regarding the exact timing and production details of the halftime show. Coverage does not yet specify whether additional artists will join U2 on stage or how long the halftime broadcast will run. Audiences will look to official updates from the streaming service and league channels for additional logistical information as the Thanksgiving Eve game draws closer.
