## Executive Summary
Compile Heart's Villion:Code is set for a Jan 26, 2027 launch in North America and Europe, sparking buzz across JRPG circles.

## Intelligence Brief
Compile Heart’s upcoming title Villion:Code is slated to launch in the West on January 26, 2027, according to coverage from Anime News Network, Crunchyroll and Gematsu. The game is described as an action‑RPG, and the release date applies to both North America and Europe. Push Square highlights that the launch adds to an already crowded PS5 January schedule, suggesting the title will be available on Sony’s console. Coverage emphasizes several angles.

Noisy Pixel published an interview with Cozy Okada, focusing on modern JRPG design and the reunion with veterans from the Persona series. Push Square frames the release as part of the “insanity” of PS5’s early‑year lineup, underscoring the competitive launch window. The background context underscores Compile Heart’s reputation for collaborations with developers linked to the Persona franchise, a point highlighted by Okada’s discussion of veteran involvement. The mention of modern JRPG trends in the Noisy Pixel interview signals industry interest in how traditional Japanese role‑playing games are evolving.

Additionally, the reference to PS5’s “insanity” of releases points to a broader market pattern where multiple high‑profile titles vie for consumer attention during the same month. Looking ahead, coverage does not yet specify pricing, exact platform list beyond the PS5 implication, or regional distribution details. Readers should watch for follow‑up reports from the same outlets that may provide pre‑order information, retailer announcements, or early reviews as the launch date approaches. Further statements from Compile Heart or additional interviews with Okada could clarify the game’s positioning within the 2027 release calendar.
