## Intelligence Brief
Recent reporting indicates a shift in checkout policies for users of the accommodation platform Airbnb. According to coverage from AP News and the Anchorage Daily News, guests utilizing the service are no longer required to wash the dishes, strip the beds, or take out the trash when completing their stays and checking out of properties. This policy update has generated significant attention across the media landscape, with specific outlets detailing the removal of these traditional departure tasks.

AP News and the Anchorage Daily News have both highlighted the specific chores that guests are now exempt from performing before their departure, noting the discontinuation of requirements related to dishwashing, bed stripping, and trash disposal. The context surrounding this policy adjustment involves ongoing discussions regarding the division of labor and responsibilities between property hosts and paying guests.
