Final screen tests for the next James Bond are scheduled for the coming week as Amazon nears naming the new 007.

## Intelligence Brief
According to coverage from outlets including Deadline, Digital Spy, Disney Fanatic, Film Stories, and HuffPost UK, the search for the next actor to portray James Bond is currently active and evolving. Reporting indicates that final screen tests are set to take place over the next week. Coverage highlights that Amazon MGM is nearing the point of naming the next 007. Specific discussions surrounding the reboot reveal that the project may feature at least three new actors playing the role of James Bond. Additionally, casting rumours have generated significant public reaction, including internet commentary branding actor Jacob Elordi as 'Temu Bond' as the casting speculation intensifies across digital platforms. The ongoing coverage emphasizes various unexpected complexities in the search process.

HuffPost UK notes that the search for the new James Bond appears less cut-and-dried than previously assumed. Digital Spy focuses on the social media and public commentary surrounding specific contender rumours, detailing how casting speculation influences public discourse. Meanwhile, Disney Fanatic provides details regarding Amazon MGM's structural plans for the franchise reboot, specifically noting the multi-actor approach. Film Stories contributes broader ongoing coverage of the James Bond film franchise as these developments unfold. This renewed attention follows years of speculation regarding the future of the iconic spy franchise following previous installments. The involvement of Amazon MGM represents a significant shift in the production and management of the James Bond property, bringing streaming and studio strategies into the traditional cinematic rollout.

Context provided across the reports shows that casting a new 007 is a heavily scrutinized global entertainment event, drawing intense interest from both traditional film publications and pop culture outlets. The inclusion of multiple actors in the upcoming reboot marks a notable departure from historical single-lead casting traditions associated with the character. Looking ahead, coverage does not yet specify the exact dates for final decisions or the identities of all actors participating in the upcoming screen tests. Observers and fans will be watching for official announcements from Amazon MGM regarding the final casting choices. Future reporting is expected to track the outcome of the final screen tests taking place over the next week, alongside any official confirmations concerning the reported multi-actor framework for the new 007 generation.
