## Executive Summary
The Las Vegas Raiders are weighing a quarterback change to Fernando Mendoza following a fourth consecutive loss and continued poor play.

## Intelligence Brief
The Las Vegas Raiders are currently evaluating their options at the quarterback position following a fourth straight loss. Head coach Kubiak has stated that the organization is 'thinking about everything' regarding the starting role, which includes the possibility of a turn for Fernando Mendoza. This consideration comes as the team struggles with a losing streak and overall poor performance on the field. The move would represent a significant shift in the team's offensive strategy as they attempt to halt their current downward trend. Coverage of this potential transition is widespread across major sports outlets.

NBC Sports and KSNV both highlight Kubiak's specific phrasing that the team is 'thinking about everything' at the quarterback position. CBS Sports emphasizes that this consideration is a direct response to the team's losing streak, explicitly naming Fernando Mendoza as a potential candidate to start. Meanwhile, Yahoo Sports reports on the internal dynamics of the situation, noting that Cousins has 'fallen on his sword' as the team's struggles persist. To understand the current urgency, readers must note the context of the Raiders' recent record. Sports Illustrated describes the current situation as one requiring 'drastic moves' because the team has suffered four consecutive defeats.

The pressure to change the starting lineup is driven by this inability to secure a victory. The tension is further underscored by the reports from Yahoo Sports regarding the state of play and the willingness of the current leadership to accept responsibility for the poor results. Moving forward, the Raiders' focus remains on whether these considerations will translate into an actual roster change for the next game. While Yahoo Sports provides broader NFL updates, including news that Christian McCaffrey will be 'alright' after a thigh injury, the immediate focus for the Raiders is the quarterback decision. Observers are watching to see if Kubiak's openness to 'everything' leads to Mendoza officially taking over the starting duties to break the streak of losses.
