## Executive Summary
Alabama defensive back Dre Kirkpatrick Jr. has been suspended by Coach Kalen DeBoer following an arrest on misdemeanor charges involving doxing and harassment.

## Intelligence Brief
Alabama defensive back Dre Kirkpatrick Jr. was arrested this past Friday, resulting in two misdemeanor charges. According to reports from WBRC and AL.com, the specific charges brought against the standout player include doxing and harassing communications. Following these legal developments, head coach Kalen DeBoer has officially suspended Kirkpatrick Jr. from the team. The suspension comes immediately before the team's Week 8 game, marking a swift disciplinary response to the player's legal situation. Coverage from a variety of outlets, including Yahoo Sports, USA Today, and 247Sports, emphasizes the timing of the disciplinary action.

Yahoo Sports notes that Coach DeBoer used the suspension to put the rest of the locker room on notice. When questioned about the player's status, DeBoer stated, 'He is not with us.' The reporting highlights that the suspension was implemented rapidly after the Friday arrest, ensuring the player would not participate in the upcoming Week 8 contest. Context provided by AL.com suggests that this incident may be connected to prior events. The reporting indicates that the football player allegedly used Facebook to threaten a police officer who had been involved in a separate arrest of the player in 2025. This background provides a framework for the current charges of harassing communications and doxing, suggesting a continuing conflict between the athlete and law enforcement personnel that has now culminated in the current misdemeanor charges.

Observers are now monitoring the fallout from this suspension as the team enters its Week 8 game. According to 247Sports, further details regarding the arrest are emerging, while USA Today continues to track the specific reasoning behind the suspension and the official comments provided by Kalen DeBoer. The primary focus remains on how the player's legal proceedings regarding the two misdemeanor charges will affect his long-term status with the Alabama football program.
