## Executive Summary
Capcom is preparing a wave of classic console titles for potential release after several legacy games received official ratings in Korea.

## Intelligence Brief
A series of classic Capcom console games have recently been rated by the Korean ratings board, signaling potential upcoming releases. According to reports from VGChartz and Gematsu, several legacy titles are appearing in official documentation. The specific games identified include entries from the Breath of Fire series, Final Fight, and Street Fighter 2: The Road Warrior. These ratings indicate that Capcom is processing these titles through the necessary regulatory channels in Korea to enable their legal distribution in that market. Coverage from PlayStation Universe and Time Extension provides further detail on the specific hardware eras these games represent.

Time Extension notes that the Korean ratings board lists releases originating from the NES and SNES, specifically highlighting Mega Man and Breath of Fire. This suggests a broad look back at the company's 8-bit and 16-bit era catalogs. The reporting across these five outlets emphasizes a consistent pattern of regulatory filings rather than a formal announcement from the publisher itself. Context provided by Instant Gaming News suggests that Capcom may be preparing these titles as part of several new compilations. The inclusion of franchises such as Mega Man and Breath of Fire indicates a strategy focused on reviving older intellectual properties for modern audiences.

By securing ratings for these specific console classics, Capcom is laying the groundwork for distribution in the Korean region, which often precedes wider regional or global launches of legacy collections. Future developments to monitor include whether Capcom officially confirms the existence of these compilations or specifies the platforms they will target. While the Korean ratings board has listed the games, coverage does not yet specify release dates or pricing for these titles. Observers are waiting to see if more titles from the NES and SNES era are added to the list or if the company will announce a comprehensive bundle featuring the rated titles like Final Fight and Street Fighter 2: The Road Warrior.
