## Executive Summary
Samsung is aggressively slashing prices across its Odyssey gaming monitor lineup with all-time low deals ahead of Black Friday.

## Intelligence Brief
Samsung has implemented a series of significant price reductions across its Odyssey gaming monitor range as the Black Friday shopping season approaches. According to a report from IGN, the 32-inch Samsung Odyssey G7 4K OLED Gaming Monitor has reached an all-time low price. Other high-end models are seeing similar reductions, with PC Guide reporting a 31 percent price cut on the top-tier Samsung 32-inch OLED G8 4K gaming monitor, which also marks the lowest price the unit has ever reached. These discounts extend to various screen sizes and technologies, including curved and ultra-wide options designed for gaming environments. Coverage of these deals is widespread across several technology and gaming outlets.

SammyGuru highlights that the 49-inch Odyssey OLED G9 has dropped to a price of $849.99 at Best Buy and notes that six different Samsung monitors are currently up to 38 percent off at Amazon, with some starting as low as $79.99. ZDNET and PCMag have both focused on the Samsung Odyssey G5 curved gaming monitor, with ZDNET specifying that the device is currently 38 percent off on Amazon. Furthermore, Neowin reports on a curved 144Hz Samsung gaming monitor that has been discounted to $99.99 in a recent deal. This trend of steep price cuts occurs within the context of pre-Black Friday promotional activity. The variety of affected models shows a broad strategy targeting different consumer segments, from those seeking ultra-wide displays like the G9 to those looking for 4K OLED performance in the G7 and G8 models.

By discounting the Odyssey G5 and other entry-level curved screens, the company is covering a price spectrum that ranges from under $100 to mid-range high-performance hardware. The timing suggests a push to capture market share before the primary holiday sales window officially opens. Future developments to monitor involve whether these all-time low prices will be maintained or further reduced during the actual Black Friday event. Coverage currently indicates that the most aggressive discounts, such as the 38 percent reductions mentioned by ZDNET, PCMag, and SammyGuru, are active now on platforms like Amazon and Best Buy. Observers should track if additional models in the Odyssey lineup receive similar cuts or if the current all-time lows for the 32-inch OLED G7 and G8 monitors represent the floor for this promotional cycle.
