## Executive Summary
René Ashton breaks her silence in a new documentary, revealing intimate details about her past relationship with the late Matthew Perry.

## Intelligence Brief
René Ashton, a former partner of Matthew Perry and an actress known for her work on How I Met Your Mother, has spoken publicly about her relationship in a new documentary. According to reports from TMZ and Us Weekly, Ashton revealed that she and Perry joined the 'Mile-High Club' during a trip on a private plane owned by A-lister Bruce Willis. This specific anecdote regarding their intimate activities on Willis's aircraft has become a primary point of discussion across multiple entertainment news outlets following the documentary's release. Coverage of these revelations has been widespread, with Page Six describing the admission as a 'surprise sex confession.' The reporting focuses on the contrast between the lighthearted nature of the plane anecdote and more serious reflections on Perry's personal struggles.

While TMZ and Us Weekly emphasize the Bruce Willis connection, AOL.com reports that Ashton used the platform to recall the moment she realized that Perry's drinking had become a significant problem. She detailed her attempts to intervene in his substance use during their time together. This story emerges as part of a broader retrospective on Matthew Perry's life and struggles, provided through the lens of a documentary where Ashton has finally broken her silence. The context provided by the coverage highlights the duality of Perry's life, juxtaposing high-profile celebrity interactions—such as the use of Bruce Willis's private jet—with the private battles Perry faced regarding addiction.

These revelations provide a glimpse into the interpersonal dynamics of Perry's past romantic relationships and the challenges those partners faced while supporting him. Future developments regarding this trend will likely depend on further releases or interviews stemming from the documentary. The coverage currently indicates that Ashton is providing a detailed account of her experience with Perry, moving from intimate memories to the realization of his health issues. Observers will be watching for further commentary from those associated with the production or other individuals mentioned in Ashton's accounts, though no further scheduled interviews have been specified in the current reporting.
