## Executive Summary
Texas Longhorns left tackle and top NFL Draft prospect Trevor Goosby is out for the season following a successful knee surgery.

## Intelligence Brief
Texas Longhorns left tackle Trevor Goosby has undergone a successful knee surgery, according to reports from ESPN. This medical procedure follows a significant knee injury that has effectively ended Goosby's current season. The news comes as a major blow to the Texas offensive line, as Goosby is regarded as a likely first-round selection in the NFL Draft. The timing of the surgery and the resulting season-ending status have shifted the team's immediate priorities regarding their starting roster and long-term draft projections. Coverage of the injury has been extensive across major sports networks and specialized collegiate outlets. NBC Sports explicitly reported that Goosby is out for the season, while CBS Sports highlighted his standing as a top-10 NFL Draft prospect who will now miss the remainder of the year.

ESPN focused on the successful nature of the surgical intervention. Meanwhile, Burnt Orange Nation provided direct insight from head coach Steve Sarkisian, who discussed the state of the team's injuries. Sarkisian's comments regarding both Trevor Goosby and Cam Coleman were stark, as the coach stated that neither player looks very good in terms of their injury status. This development is particularly critical due to Goosby's perceived value in the professional market. The context of the situation is further complicated by the simultaneous injury to Cam Coleman. The loss of two key pieces of the offensive line puts significant pressure on the coaching staff to restructure their protection schemes and integrate new starters into the lineup during a pivotal part of the season.

Looking forward, the focus shifts to how Texas will fill the void at left tackle. On3 has identified Andre Cojoe as a player who can play good football for Texas in place of the injured Goosby. Observers will be monitoring Cojoe's performance in the coming games to see if he can maintain the level of play required to replace a top-10 draft talent. Additionally, the recovery timeline for Goosby and the status of Cam Coleman remain key points of interest, as the team attempts to navigate the season without two of its primary offensive linemen.
