## Executive Summary
Eric Bauza’s sudden passing triggers a posthumous Simpsons cameo and a postponed Powerpuff Girls reunion, sparking industry tributes and fan fund drives.

## Intelligence Brief
In the weeks following his death, two separate announcements emerged. Deadline and Variety reported that Bauza will appear posthumously in an upcoming episode of “The Simpsons,” voicing two distinct characters. At the same time, Cartoon Brew noted that a planned “Powerpuff Girls” reunion has been postponed, with organizers urging fans to contribute to a fund for Bauza’s family. Coverage across entertainment trade outlets underscores both tribute and logistical impact.

The Hollywood Reporter described Bauza as a “once‑in‑a‑generation” talent who gave Looney Tunes a new voice, emphasizing his influence on modern animation. Cartoon Brew focused on the practical response to his death, detailing the postponement of the Powerpuff Girls event and listing donation channels. Deadline and Variety each dedicated articles to the Simpsons debut, confirming the two‑character cameo and noting the rarity of posthumous voice work. His ability to blend classic cartoon timing with contemporary humor earned him industry accolades and a reputation for versatility.

Viewers can also expect additional tributes from the Powerpuff Girls production team, as the postponed reunion may be rescheduled once the family fund is established. Industry watchers will monitor announcements from the Simpsons producers for any further posthumous uses of Bauza’s archive recordings.
