Microsoft is celebrating 25 years of Xbox by offering a bundle of 25 free games worth over $500 with the purchase of a new Windows PC.

## Intelligence Brief
Microsoft has announced a promotional offer titled the 25 Years of Xbox Bundle to coincide with the holiday season. According to reporting from ShiftDelete.Net, the company is providing 25 free games to customers who purchase a new Windows PC. This initiative is designed to incentivize the purchase of gaming handhelds and other PC hardware by adding significant software value to the initial hardware acquisition. The promotion links the purchase of a Windows-based machine directly to the acquisition of this anniversary game library. Coverage from Analytics Insight emphasizes the specific value and content of the software package. The outlet reports that the anniversary bundle is valued at USD 570.

Furthermore, Analytics Insight identifies several high-profile titles included in the collection, specifically naming Halo, DOOM, and Skyrim as featured games within the 25-title set. These details highlight the prestige of the games being offered as part of the broader celebratory event. The focus across the reporting is on the substantial monetary value being provided to the consumer. This promotion serves as a milestone celebration for the Xbox brand, marking 25 years since its inception. By bundling these titles with Windows PCs, Microsoft is positioning its software ecosystem as a primary draw for users entering the handheld gaming market during the holiday window. The inclusion of established franchises like Halo and Skyrim suggests a strategy of leveraging legacy intellectual property to attract new users to Windows-powered devices.

This context explains the timing of the release as both an anniversary event and a holiday sales tactic. Future developments to monitor include the specific eligibility requirements for the Windows PCs mentioned in the ShiftDelete.Net report. While the value is established at USD 570 by Analytics Insight, the coverage does not yet specify the full list of all 25 games included beyond the three mentioned titles. Observers will likely look for further details on how users can redeem the bundle and whether the offer applies to all Windows PC hardware or a specific subset of gaming-certified devices.
