## Executive Summary
Director Taika Waititi faces criticism following the box office failure of 'Klara and the Sun' and his response via Instagram.

## Intelligence Brief
This development follows the commercial performance of the movie, which starred Jenna Ortega. According to coverage from Yahoo, the film has bombed at the box office, leading to a wider conversation about the current state of Waititi's creative output and the reception of his recent projects. The coverage from Pajiba emphasizes a deeper trend regarding the critical reception of Waititi's more recent endeavors.

The outlet suggests there is a specific reason why critics have not liked his newer material, framing the current controversy not as an isolated incident but as part of a broader decline in critical approval. To understand why this is trending now, readers must consider the high expectations typically associated with Taika Waititi's direction and the star power of Jenna Ortega. The contrast between the anticipated success of a project featuring such talent and the reported box office failure has created a vacuum for critical analysis.

Moving forward, observers will be watching for further responses from Taika Waititi or the production teams involved in 'Klara and the Sun'. Future reports will likely focus on whether the director addresses the critical claims made by Pajiba or provides further context regarding the film's financial struggle.
