## Executive Summary
A drone strike hits a major Ozon logistics hub in southern Russia, sparking a fire and forcing evacuations.

## Intelligence Brief
Recent reporting outlines a drone strike that targeted a major logistics centre operated by the online retailer Ozon in southern Russia. Specifically, the facility located in Adygeysk, also referenced as Adygea, was struck by unmanned aerial vehicles. The impact sparked a fire at the site and forced the immediate evacuation of personnel. According to coverage from outlets including The Kyiv Independent, Kyiv Post, The Moscow Times, Мілітарний, and Українська правда, the incident caused significant disruption to operations, affecting thousands of deliveries handled by the e-commerce platform. Coverage across the participating news organisations places heavy emphasis on the operational disruptions at the e-commerce hub and the visual confirmation of fire at the site. Українська правда and Мілітарний focus on the UAV action targeting the logistics center.

Meanwhile, The Moscow Times and Kyiv Post emphasize the evacuation protocols triggered by the strike and the thousands of halted deliveries. Alongside these logistics reports, other outlets such as The Independent include broader updates concerning the ongoing conflict, noting unrelated diplomatic plans involving Melania Trump hosting summits for Kyiv and Moscow. This event connects directly to the broader context of the ongoing war between Ukraine and Russia, where critical infrastructure and supply chains inside Russian territory increasingly become targets for aerial drone operations. Ozon functions as one of the largest online retailers in the region, making its massive distribution hubs vital nodes for commercial shipping and consumer goods movement. The targeting of a major logistics centre highlights the vulnerability of domestic commercial supply chains to aerial attacks as the conflict persists across borders.

Downstream coverage does not yet specify the full extent of the structural damage to the Adygeysk facility or the timeline for resuming normal delivery operations. Observers and readers must look to future updates from the mentioned publications and the online retailer itself to track recovery efforts at the warehouse. Additionally, coverage does not yet detail official statements from regional authorities regarding air defence responses or the origin and specific type of the unmanned aerial vehicles involved in the strike.
