## Executive Summary
Microsoft expands its cloud gaming ecosystem with the introduction of the Xbox Nano Controller and a new input method.

## Intelligence Brief
Microsoft has announced two new methods for users to play games via Xbox Cloud Gaming. The rollout focuses on increasing the accessibility of the cloud gaming service by providing more versatile control options for players who do not wish to use a full-sized gamepad or a standard console setup. Coverage of these developments has been reported by several technology and gaming outlets.

The Verge and Engadget both report that Xbox is currently testing these two new controller options. Additionally, XBOX Wire provided a preview of the new ways to play, while Pure Xbox detailed the two distinct methods announced for cloud gaming. This move is significant because it addresses the physical barriers to cloud gaming entry.

The context suggests a shift toward supporting a wider variety of devices and environments, allowing users to stream games more flexibly. This expansion follows the general industry trend of decoupling high-end gaming experiences from expensive, bulky hardware, aiming instead for a more streamlined, cloud-centric approach to gaming inputs. Future developments will depend on the results of the current testing phase mentioned by Engadget.
