## Executive Summary
Jimmy Kimmel and other Hollywood figures react to a 'Blue Tsunami' in the midterm elections, with Kimmel delivering a sharp critique of Donald Trump.

## Intelligence Brief
Late-night host Jimmy Kimmel has launched a series of pointed attacks against Donald Trump following the midterm elections. According to coverage from The Hollywood Reporter, Kimmel asserted that the only 'ass' on Trump's mind is the one that was just handed to him. This rhetoric comes as the Democratic party experiences what multiple outlets are describing as a 'Blue Tsunami' during the election cycle. The discourse centers on Kimmel's public reaction to the results, which he characterizes as a humiliating defeat for the MAGA movement. Several major media outlets are reporting on these reactions. The New York Times and Yahoo both highlight the 'Blue Tsunami' phrasing used to describe the election outcome.

HuffPost describes Kimmel's comments as an 'epic reality check' for the president, while The Daily Beast reports that the host is laughing in Trump's face. Rolling Stone specifically notes that Kimmel celebrated the results by stating, 'Now the Red Wedding begins,' linking the political shift to a pop-culture reference. The Independent further confirms Kimmel's claim that Trump had his 'a** handed to him' in the midterms. To understand the significance of this trend, it is necessary to note the involvement of broader Hollywood figures. Yahoo reports that Kimmel was not alone in his reaction, as Alyssa Milano and others within the entertainment industry also celebrated the midterm results. This suggests a wider trend of high-profile celebrities aligning their public commentary with the Democratic gains.

The coverage emphasizes a stark divide between the celebratory mood in Hollywood and the electoral losses faced by the MAGA movement, framing the event as a decisive political shift. Future developments will likely depend on how the aftermath of the 'Blue Tsunami' unfolds in government. Coverage from The Hollywood Reporter and Rolling Stone indicates that the focus remains on the immediate fallout of the MAGA defeat. Observers are watching to see if the 'Red Wedding' scenario described by Kimmel manifests in tangible political consequences for Trump. For now, the narrative is dominated by the intersection of late-night comedy and election results, as the entertainment world continues to react to the shift in power.
