## Executive Summary
Rosie O’Donnell and other celebrities react with euphoria after Democrats secure control of the House and Senate in the 2026 midterm elections.

## Intelligence Brief
O’Donnell described the election results as a "blue tsunami" and asserted that the American electorate has delivered a "loud and very clear message to Trump." Her reactions, characterized by euphoria, include stating that it is a "beautiful morning in the world" and signaling the start of a new era for the United States. These statements coincide with a broader trend of celebrity reactions to what has been described as a midterm bloodbath. Coverage of these reactions is widespread across multiple international and digital outlets. The Independent reports on O’Donnell's declarations alongside the broader reaction from the celebrity community. AOL.com focuses on the specific message O'Donnell believes was sent to Trump via the Democratic victories in the House and Senate.

Meanwhile, Yahoo News Singapore highlights the "euphoric take" of the MS NOW host, while Queerty emphasizes the "blue tsunami" terminology used by O’Donnell to describe the shift in political power. The Irish Star also reports on her celebration of the midterm results and her specific claim regarding the end of the regime. This development is significant because it marks a shift in legislative power within the United States government. The context provided by the coverage centers on the transition of control of the House and Senate to the Democratic party, which O'Donnell identifies as the end of a "reign of terror." The use of terms like "bloodbath" and "tsunami" indicates the perceived scale of the electoral shift. For celebrity commentators like O'Donnell, these results represent a definitive rejection of the current administration's influence and a mandate for a different political direction.

Future attention will likely focus on how these election results translate into governance now that Democrats hold both chambers of Congress. While the coverage focuses primarily on the emotional and celebratory reactions of public figures, the factual outcome remains the change in House and Senate control. Observers will be watching for the formalization of this new legislative era and whether other celebrities continue to voice their reactions to the results. The reports from AOL.com and others establish that the primary catalyst for this trend is the specific victory of Democrats in the midterms.
