## Executive Summary
Deontay Wilder is set to co-headline the Tyson Fury vs. Anthony Joshua card against undefeated opponent Jai Opetaia on December 11 in Cardiff.

## Intelligence Brief
A heavyweight clash between Deontay Wilder and Jai Opetaia has been added to the undercard of the Tyson Fury versus Anthony Joshua fight. This event is scheduled to take place on December 11 at the Principality Stadium in Cardiff. According to reporting from the BBC, the addition of the Wilder-Opetaia bout strengthens the bill for this high-profile encounter. The fight will be broadcast via Netflix, as noted by Yahoo Sports, which describes the matchup as a pairing between Wilder and an undefeated opponent. Coverage from several major outlets emphasizes the scale of the event.

ESPN reports that the Wilder-Opetaia fight will serve specifically as the co-main event of the Fury-Joshua card. Sky Sports provides the concrete date and venue, confirming the December 11 date at the Principality Stadium. Additionally, Boxing News Online highlights that a deal has been agreed upon for the heavyweight fight, and the outlet mentions that Robert Garcia has already delivered a verdict regarding the matchup between the two fighters. Context for this event includes the ambitions of the participants involved. While the Cardiff card is set, reporting from the International Boxing Association (IBA) indicates that Deontay Wilder is also targeting a bout with Murat Gassiev.

In statements cited by the IBA, Wilder has vowed to bring heavyweight boxing back to life. This indicates a broader strategic goal for Wilder beyond the immediate fight against Opetaia, positioning him as a central figure in the current heavyweight landscape alongside Fury and Joshua. Observers will be monitoring the lead-up to the December 11 event in Cardiff to see how the co-main event influences the overall energy of the Principality Stadium bill. Because the fight is being hosted on Netflix, the reach and viewership of the undercard will be a point of interest. Future developments to watch include any further movements regarding Wilder's expressed interest in fighting Murat Gassiev, as well as the final preparations for the main event between Tyson Fury and Anthony Joshua.
